A unique movie with a solid execution. A slow burn, but not a boring one. May not be for you if you have no attention span, but to say it’s a bad movie speaks more to a lack of understanding and appreciation of it as a film than it does about the film itself. I’d give it a solid 7/10. Unique perspective, fun kills, practical effects. An artsy movie that makes you think even after the fact.

solid movie! one of the better films i've seen this year. solid characterizations and very well done. Not sure why it's a 5.7 on IMDb, this movie had soul to it! It didn't feel sterile like most new movies nowadays and it had a good amount of detail in the plot and devices. It also has a good amount of comedy relief without it being too much. Deserves a five stars for the soul and practical effects.

Unplayable in its current state with the controls being impossible. I've played games for a very long time and don't have an issue with tank controls, but this is insanely clumsy and bad. It's not playable in its current state. Sad because I was really excited for this. Spent $30 for nothing :/

[ 7.5/10 ] - don't go off reviews, play it yourself. Game is like a 3rd person Borderlands game set in the DC universe. Don't go into it expecting an Arkham game just because it is canonically 5 years after the last game. It's not that. The tone is more comedic on par with Suicide Squad. I'm not a fan of the movie but loved this game. Pros: - fun, fast paced and satisfying combat - character depth/good dialogue that gets you to bond with characters you might nota cared for at first. I hated Boomerang at first and loved him by the end. - really dope visuals and boss fights at least for the first half of the game - great story that makes you not want to put the game down - Unique game overall, refreshing. haven't had this much fun with a game in awhile. - Felt nostalgic, reminded me of how games used to feel as a kid, simple n satisfying to play - Cool easter eggs that made me happy to see - you can play as OG Jester Harley - Each character has completely unique combat / abilities - There's a lot of potential here for an amazing game, the game felt like it actually had soul which I haven't encountered in a game in a long time. Looking forward to seeing what they do with its potential and the Elseworlds content. Cons: [ SPOILERS ] - Needs civilians running around Metropolis to make it more alive. could be fixed with an update. Would be cool if the civilians could give you missions too. Would flesh out the game and bump it up. Metropolis shouldn't feel dead. - Poison Ivy is an ugly child n theres no reason for it. give her a growth serum or something. shes does not look good and it genuinely pissed me off looking at her. this would add a half a point to the score if they fixed this. -Batman getting shot by Harley makes no sense at all. I know it's a nonsensical game and that's part of the charm of the game and part of why I enjoyed it, but this specifically didn't make sense. Why on a park bench right before fighting superman?? Need explanation. - Brainiac final boss fight is literally a reskinned Flash boss fight but they made it purple. Made no sense. Shoulda been a lot of phases to his fight. & made no sense why he would turn into Flash after he alr got killed by the suicide squad earlier. Needs a complete rework. felt rushed. But there are "12 other brainiacs" that I haven't fought yet. Just don't know why I got a gold trophy for killing Brainiac if it was technically phase 1 of 13 - Needs a permanent offline mode. You can play the entire story single player (I did), but you still have to connect to servers to login. - Free Joker dlc next month : Really don't like his face model and overall look, but give him a OG BtAS outfit with a hat and maybe he'll be more tolerable. I still need to play the end game content but this is my base game review. Game doesn't deserve the hate it gets & I usually hate new games.
