I was so let down. I loved the first movie (2017) version as well as the original. This one was a flop. The movie felt like the director and producer were in a rush to get it done sooner than later, which I would’ve preferred later than this garbage they gave us. The effects were super unrealistic. I can understand that to an extent, but they were more comical than scary. 30 minutes into the movie I said “this is dumb,” and wanted to leave. When I see scary movies I want to be scared. I don’t want to laugh. If I wanted to laugh during a movie, I’d watch a comedy. The lighting was also really intense, so if you’re sensitive to flashing lights, you’ll miss the ending like I did. Honestly, 3/10 for me. It was way too over hyped, but I did get some chuckles out of it
