Another addition to Hasraf Dulull's impressive collection of self-important, tone-deaf, and nearly insulting pieces of nonsense that Netflix considers a coherent piece of work. Prepare to spend an hour and a half inside the mind of a pretentious sci-fi enthusiast with the amount of technical foresight as a teenager on an Adderall binge that read just enough Wikipedia articles to feel smart.
The complete lack of narrative depth is supported by a flurry of grossly misrepresented technologies, unnecessary buzzwords, and misunderstood ethical debates used as scattered plot devices. To this end, Dulull's attempts at sci-fi remain frustratingly infantilizing to an informed audience, best left as an improvised playground fantasy.
This movie is utter garbage and Netflix should know better than to promote and foster the directorial work of Dulull.
