This movie gets better every time I watch it! While it's not going to be everybody's cup of tea, for a simple movie to immerse yourself into for a few hours, it's worth the price of admission...twice, maybe three times at least! See it if: *You like cyberpunk and want something different from the usual moody "Blade Runner" types the genre struggles to break away from. *You wanna see a new leading face for a change [Rosa Salazar is AMAZING!] * Want something refreshingly different from the MCU/DC/Star Wars stuff. DON'T expect it to match that level, but it may be an earnest effort towards beingthe best sci-fi action/adventure this side of that mill. *You're willing to try for a fresh world and story, even if it has a few elements that seem pretty familiar... Don't See If: *You are ABSOLUTELY sick of YA romance (easily the weakest element of the film. Mileage may vary on tolerance) * Cyborgs/androids/robots easily confuse you--if the genre doesn't speak to you, this won't make you listen to it any clearer. *Characters making questionable decisions annoys you (even if it is part of the character's maturation process). *You REALLY don't think you'll get over those eyes. [Because Quasimodo taught you NOTHING about valuing a character for who they are, not what they look like] Overall, I LOVE this movie. My heart gives it two thumbs way up. Even if my brain gives it a far less enthusiastic one thumb. My heart is where it's at on this one though!
