I just finished season 4. I stand by what I said before…the writing is incomplete and awful. Some of the dialogue was unbearable to hear. It is so obvious that this show did NOT consult experts in any field. The shooting scenes were so poorly done. Go to a shooting range. It’s not expensive for a show to teach shooting techniques and stances. All the hospital scenes were poorly done. The editing was choppy and spliced together. That Orlando toothpick was so unnecessary. Another reviewer said “that damn toothpick!” Why did this business man walk around with an effing toothpick in his mouth??!! Disgusting!! What ever happened to Ruby’s brother? Oh, maybe I walked out of the room and missed it! 🤷🏾‍♀️ People have to work and feed their families, I get that, but do better. I am always pulling for Black writers , directors, actors, entertainers, etc, but this scripted body of work is embarrassing. 🤮 The actor who plays Junior, Sean Ringgold, did a good job and he’s fine too!

Episode 3x2 - a police officer and fire fighter go into a neighbor’s apartment because a single mom cuts herself on broken glass. How did a toddler get the police officers’ gun? Did the police officer just lay it on the floor or coffee table? That would be STUPID!!! The pew pew was NOT a good setup or explanation for how a toddler got a police officers’ gun. Do better!!! I do like the show, but that was poorly written.

I watch this show because of Jared and Coby. I love Jared from Supernatural. I love Coby from The Game and other shows. I love Mitch from The X-Files. I don’t like the writing for the kids on this show. Walker’s kids are disrespectful and entitled. How can the child of an undercover officer just stroll up on an undercover operation like he has the right to be there? That was terrible, nonsensical writing. The son is whiny and the daughter is an entitled brat. The kids are too entangled in Walker’s professional life and they know the crooks, killers, and thieves personally. Do better with the writing. I want to see more of this show!!

I like this show, but…. these poor white teens are disrespectful and entitled. They have no respect for Darlene. It’s fine to express yourself, but it’s not okay to be disrespectful and entitled. This is why white people end up feeling entitled when they go out into the world. We all have our feeling, thoughts, emotions, and opinions; however we are not entitled to be disrespectful to other people. Harris has a bad attitude. Harris and Mark are the type of entitled white child that’s released upon society. It’s doesn’t matter that they are poor. They are white, disrespectful and entitled. Stop releasing disrespectful and entitled people into society. We all end up dealing with these types of people. I like the show though…

This is one of the BEST written shows that I’ve seen in a long time! No stupid, or predictable plots. I binged all three seasons and can’t wait for more. Great job writers of YOU!!! And thank YOU (writers) for being fantastic and unpredictable. I love it!!! I love great writers and writing ✍🏾 The main character is cray cray, but there's always someone crazier. I recommend this show.
