Great series. If your expectations are too high as like you wants to do PhD with this series. Then, just do not go for it . It's a great show for those who wants to see a glimpse of 4.5 Billion years of Earth evolution. It would make you how to appreciate, the humongous time scale of 4.5 Billion years, how much destructive earth forces could be to destroy life for 5 times and again repeating the cycle of life almost from scratch, what it would have been the scale of evolution and time when a single micro-organism cell developed into complex tissue all the way to us Humans and counting, you would appreciate how life had found its ways after every mass destruction, almost from a dead planet, and with how much misunderstanding we are living as if we are eternal, even after the extinction of humans or 6th mass extinction Earth would found its ways to flourish life more thrivingly without humans. Only one thing would be eternal THE EARTH and LIFE. We are just 160,000 years old as species and max. 10,000 years old as modern humans out of time scale of earth life of 4500000000 years. Over all good experience watching this, truly like a time travelling shuttle to go back and see the life happening in the past.
