CC II successfully weaves together several story genres: religion, mythology, fable, fantasy, animation and technology all included. There’s even a nod to eighties film, Back to the Future. Kurt Russell carries the cast, especially the child actors. Goldie Hawn plays a mother managing teenage angst with grace and dignity. Christmas is saved by everyone working together. Oh, and there’s a moral to the story too, “The hero is always inside you and stay away from strangers in golf carts.” Beloved SNL character Mr. Bill makes a cameo appearance, so watch carefully.
