I will give it five stars for the realistic way it portrayed Jesus because he was a man, but it attempts to suggest that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute possessed. This was not the case, she was from a very rich family, she looked after the apostles she looked after the mother of jesus, I am not saying she was his wife a lot people speculate about that. But she was NOT a prostitute. I enjoyed all the acting in this series. As real man Jesus did live he was real person. We go to the Jewish text, which days he was a Rabel rouser. I would watch this, it portrays the disciples as real men who believed in the ministry of jesus and followed him with the blessings of there wives yes two or three disciples it is recorded was married. Christian Catholic baptist whatever your denomination watch this really good TV show.

I think this is a great film by Ridley Scott, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck. Jody Comer is a very good actress, Adam Driver is excellent. A very strong supporting cast too, I really enjoyed it and it was a true story as well. I watched it on it on Disney+ I suggest you get Disney+ if you haven't already. Ridley Scott is Master film maker he reminds me of golden era of Directors in Hollywood, he's made some great period films. Matt Damon & Ben Affleck two of great actors/screen writers extremely talented guys, Adam Driver is a great actor watched many of his films, Jody Comer very good actress. What else can I say I just really enjoyed the authenticity of this film.
