I can't believe I am the FIRST to write a review on this album. I remember the first album my father ever bought me, per my request, was Lynyrd Skynyrd Gold & Platinum. I have I think heard them when I was in my playpen and I am just a biker brat. I am now after 37 years of 'hard living' enjoying my 'new life' in RECOVERY. I am now into my guitar and music. I added God & Guns to my playlist and just TODAY I began listening to the lyrics of these songs. I am inspired to go out in the addiction community and sing ALL these wonderful songs to my brothers and sisters out there. It is always been a Skynyrd life for me FOREVER. They brought me thru good and bad, happy and sad - thanks for this album. I had the pleasure of seeing them on their last tour with Hank Jr. and that is a memory I will take to my grave with me. RIP to the lost souls of the brothers and sisters we lost in that plane crash - that could have been PREVENTED. For some reason it was God's will and I must accept it. Thanks for carrying me thru my southern heritage and helping me learn. "I know a little" and you guys were my inspiration. ♥
