I am a total non believer in any god. I've been a fan of am still follow the writings of Christopher Hitchens. That does not mean that I do not accept that a man called Jesus of Nazareth ever existed or was so mercesly put to death but not born of a virgin. That's too much. However this book by Leslie Cannold explains to me why this myth was put about and perpetuated over the centuries. I have read this book three times over the past few years and each time got more from it, and feel much gratitude to the author. Thank you Leslie Cannold.for such a magnificent work.
