I used to never miss an episode of MTP when Russert and Todd were hosting and I was looking forward to what Kristen Welker would bring to the program. I think she’s a good choice however, what I find is that MTP is now, more than ever, engaging in rapid fire questioning of people - who are politicians but not Statesmen/women. I appreciate the challenges before you in re to the current polarized political scene and efforts to inform viewers of the real threat to our republic. But are there no politicians who are recognized by your journalists as potentially great public servants? I believe they exist in both parties and are not exclusively our elders. Please consider bringing them forward at least on a regular basis and interview them in an evocative manner that we might get to know them. I’ll keep watching to see how MTP responds/evolves in this political climate.
