The characters in Tales from the Loop are hard scientists, physicists, mathematicians, and chemists. Being a chemist myself, the characterization of these personality types felt like home to me. One important aspect of these scientific personality types is that they all are perfectly satisfied to "Live into Answers" and this is exactly what we /they do in the Loop. So, the authors caught the scientist and what makes him/her tick really well. They also got right for the characters that if they do not have some new challenge consuming them, they are not happy. The imagery in Tales from the Loop is beautiful and haunting. I saw a kitchen window shot of a house in New Orleans on Zillow. Outside in the distance there was a spiral elevated bridge for a new roadway. I did a double take because that shot could be from tales from the loop. I could write for a long time about this series. It is beautiful and unusual. I hope it will be continued.
