Being up front that it was a gay themed destination wedding would have saved me time, money and cringe momemts with my wife on date night. I'll do better research next time Hollywood.

No doubt it was therapeutic to write this book for the author, however his biases were obvious throughout even though he tried to paint himself as objective, but I guess that would be the case with any autobiography. I should have read the reviews. The themes were obvious. White supremacy, slavery, oppression of women, church authoritarianism, social injustice, voter suppression, etc, finishing up with Trump derangement. Made it to chapter 16 but had to throw the book away.
