Binge watched it straight through. Ritchson, Fitzgerald, Goodwin were outstanding. We've read all the books, some repeatedly. Mr. Cruise has many talents- my wife rewatches Top Gun way too often- but this was not his role. Ritchson owns it. Whatever they're going to do with the Reacher series, do it while Ritchson is available. The other characters almost never carry over into more than one book, so one loses Fitzgerald (an absolute firecracker) and Goodwin- quite believable as a Harvard man, but there's that.
