This show is definitely very different from the original comedy series of the 1990's; however, I believe that it displays the real factors of life in 2019 until today. Everything about our lives then and now are very different. The youth of today have so much more to deal with than back in the 1990's and some of those things are drugs and gun violence. The writers show how no matter what type of neighborhood you live in some of the problems are the same. GREAT take on the world that we now live in. Not meant for laughs; however, an excellent eyeopener for what our youth are having to deal with.

This is an excellent show because it shows the difficulties that a young man faces in school and in the community, in which he lives. Even though he is very intelligent he displays characteristics of mental illness. I feel that his mental illness stems from environmental circumstances. Great series for educators to watch to help the educators understand why some children act out or have emotional and or learning issues during their most informative years of school.
