Sets and costumes are beautiful, but the story doesn’t flow well. Maybe there’s a little bit of comedy, but the theme of class inequality is a serious matter. Why would Eliza want a romantic relationship with Henry Higgins? He’s completely self-centered. The ending doesn’t make sense and nothing seems resolved. Some songs went on way too long.
