All these bots claiming Kalki was a cinematic masterpiece lmao when it was obviously not. The cinematics were amazing but by no means does the movie even come close to being a masterpiece! All the Mahabharata shots were 10/10 but besides those shots the movie felt empty. The acting was vanilla without any depth to the characters + the god awful hindi dubbing didn't help. Even the highlight of the movie "Ashwatthama" I felt was lacking in the character depth department. The transition from his anger to regret felt quick and void. The antagonists felt weak and the "bhairava" character was a joke (horribly written). Ofc they just had to give him a powerup by making him the reincarnation of karna the GOAT 😮‍💨 Normally I wouldn't care about writing a review for any bollywood movie but I absolutely love Mahabharata and any movie that uses it as its pretext or includes it in its story should really stand up to it.

I mean I wasn't sure whether to binge it or not coz I'm quite picky but I gotta tell you this show is an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. I mean from everything - mystery, suspense, thrill, character development, depth of story - EVERY FRIKIN THING WAS PERFECTION. Its easily the best series I have watched in forever.

I dont even remember how many times I cried when I first watched this movie. No matter how many times I watch it I end up in tears. Its an absolute masterpiece and a must watch. They portrayed everything so beautifully arghhh no words just loved it!
