I don't even know where to begin. To say that this is a disappointment is an understatement. Anyone giving this more than 1 star either has not read the books, doesn't understand what they just watched, or is getting something out of giving 5 stars. This show feels like someone read the first 4 chapters of the book, then skipped 400 pages, then read key words in the last third of the book and pieced together a story. The amount of plot holes is absurd. If there is a season 2, it is clear it will be nothing even remotely related to the books except for character names and places. Key points of the story were missed and characters aren't even in places that they should (and need) to be by the end of the season. Numerous changes, additions and story being removed for no reason. Points that should be really momentous are over within 5mins with next to no build up, leaving a very "oh...that's it?" feeling. Even if I haven't read the books, I would still be feeling the same way. The fact that I have read the books is the only reason I watched the entire season, hoping that it would be saved by the end. Instead, it got very very worse and the first thing I said when the last episode finished was "What the f***?". An amazing story is simply ruined and this show was just a waste of everyone's time.
