As a massive fan since the first games, this game feels rushed and unfinished. The new Pokemon are fairly uninteresting, and the 'open world' still has to be explored in a certain order or you'll end up battling Lv. 20 trainers with Lv. 60 Pokemon which just feels sluggish. I'd almost rather go back to the game being linear as before. Some of the story was interesting and I do have hopes for a better open world Pokemon game in the future 🤞
