It was clear to me that a man made this movie. Women's voices should be expressed BY women directors/writers especially if the story-line's theme regards violence towards women. It's cruel otherwise. The emotion felt very displaced in regards to the actual experience and that gave the movie a strange passive aggressive and unsure tone.
