This movie was awful and felt extremely long to watch. The acting was very melodramatic, the people playing the Norwegian authorities acted like the wicked stepsisters from Cinderella. The director tried SO hard to make people sympathize with Mrs. Chatterjee that it actually had the opposite effect on me. Mrs. Chatterjee is portrayed as irrational, lacking any common sense. She repeatedly refuses to listen to wise counsel, and foolishly breaks the law multiple times and takes every action to further create problems for herself and her children. Frankly, after a while of watching this movie and seeing her character constantly acting so unhinged that you start to think perhaps she shouldn't get her kids back. I just wish I could get two hours of my life back I wasted watching this movie.
