Loved it. When I saw the Broadway show and Lin-Manuel Miranda opened with that 8 minute rap, it was revolutionary and changed the Broadway musical paradigm (clearly the blueprint for Hamilton).
The movie was true to the original but filming on the real streets of Washington Hts, and very creative cinematography and choreography opened it up yet still maintained the sound, stories and heart of this of this loveletter to the immigrant experience in the Big Apple.
