Just beat the main story line of Pokémon Legends Arceus, the credits are literally rolling as I type this. I’m a long time fan of all the Pokémon games, going back to the originals, Red, Blue, and Yellow. I’ve played all the game freak games and even all the other Pokémon games as well. I can happily say this is the best Pokémon game to date. I had a ton of fun playing this main storyline and I felt it was just as long as it needed to be. I’m not even done all the side quests, but I’ll get there. In terms of the graphics, some moments looked vibrant and impressive but some moments looked dated and had room for improvements. In addition, some of the original 150 Pokemon aren’t all included but they do a good job at mixing up the bunch. I can totally see where DLC’s will add to this games size and selection in the future. I played half of this game in handheld switch mode and the other half docked on my tv and I had more fun with it on the big screen for sure. Overall this game made me happy and will have great replay value for a long time. If you’re into Pokémon, this game is for you, especially if you enjoyed L.O.Z.B.O.T.W. I give it a solid 8/10 ! If game freak can keep this up and listen to the fans, I’m sure they’ll finally continue to make the best Pokémon games anyone could think of. This game will bring old fans like me back to the glory days, as well as earn them so new ones. Great job !
