It was beyond that. It not only changed the Indian Cricket but it brought the country at world stage. It boosted the much needed self-confidence of the country. It gave real meaning, newer heights and brought respect to Independence which we got from British in 1947. This religion Cricket has proved that if some instances of dirty politics had divided the country people, then good instances of cricket had united the country. India was reborn on 25th June,1983.
