It’s too bad this show could have been so much better, I thought in the beginning it would be like West Wing which I loooooved, sadly NO. Her character is so unlikeable, i don’t understand her hatred of clothes or looking good, what’s with that, and the hair is sooooo distracting, and don’t get me started on all her cursing. Her husband is a much more likeable character, and she is at times brutal with him. Having said all that, once I got pass her disheveled look, the show is actually quite good, the second season is much better than the first, and it’s much more interesting, I seem to be hooked.

I like the show, her designs are great and she is perky and has a warm personality. I’m not sure why she does not do the show full time instead of working on another very challenging financial job, but I guess if she can manage, more power to her. My only suggestion is please take off your HAT, sometimes you can barely see her eyes, it just seems odd that she has to have it on all the time, I feel like she wore it while working, but now she wears it all the time, it’s distracting.

For gods sake why on earth would you cancel one of the best shows on your network. Turns out its no 1 in US .. Canada and England. Networks no longer wait for a show to build an audience, often it’s word of mouth that a show grows in popularity. There is so much mediocracy on all the different streaming networks that when you find a show as good as this, one cannot fathom why it was cancelled. Please renew a show that stands out among all the rubbish out there.

It seems a good show. I actually like it a lot. However, I’m confused as to why the British do these shows in France, but do not have one French person in entire show. at least have a main character speaking English with a French accent, because of that I do not find show authentic change that and it would be awesome.

Whats with everyone being BRITISH in this show, drives me bonkers, you think they would have people who are actually French in a show takes place in France. I find this very distracting, why bother making it in France, you could just as easily had the location in Britain. Please put at least one main French character in the show, and people actually speaking french here and there. I removed two stars because of that 😳 ridicule

I have read several of Peter Robertsons books on DCI Banks, about 18. I’m proud that Peter Robinson is Canadian. The show could have been so much better, Banks is portrayed in the books as an attractive man, unfortunately the actor who plays him is not, I’m not saying he is mot a good actor he is just wrong for the part, they changed the stories so much I barely recognize them. Read the books they are so much better than the show.

It’s a good show i love watching, the only thing I don’t like is they give them so little time to make the garments, then Criticize the workmanship. REALLY …..give them more time to work it’s insane how stressful the designers are. Also the co hosts on this show are not as helpful as on project runway or making the cut, very little advice is given, it’s mostly them having fun, instead of mentoring the designers. And the grand prize is paltry 250,000 I know it sounds like a lot but you can’t do much with that in the fashion industry. On project runway they get one million dollars plus a mentorship plus money towards sewing machines. I also like the fact that the other shows provide help with starting a business, such as set up, financing, branding, and store design.

I stopped watching this show because on two separate occasions it showed children being shot. What kind of director would allow children to be shot. I will no longer watch this show, it’s too disturbing .
