Rachel Maddow is not only a thoughtful and brilliant journalist, she is the consummate storyteller, who nightly, offers layers upon layers of backstory and information to enrich the headlines which are repeated ad nauseum on the other MSNBC channels . I appreciate the "plow deep" one-on-one interviews she does on her shows, rather than the typical panels provided by other cable news hosts.
