I am a huge Shiv Bhakt and fell in love with Mohit Raina as his portrayal of Lord Shiva. Sourabh Raj Jain plays Narayan brilliantly. He is a fantastic actor and I loved him in Mahabharat too. His twinkly eyes and mischievous smile makes him so believable as Krishna and Vishnu. Kudos to all the actors- Narad, Brahma, Nandi and all… I just feel sad to see the Parvatis come and go so much. Just when you get used to one Parvati actress, she is replaced with another. Unfortunately didn’t like the final Parvati too much although she was a good actress. She just didn’t fit the role. Mohit Raina is an incredible actor and does full justice as Lord Shiva. The story is beautifully executed and loved the research behind it. My favourite show.

What a powerful and gripping movie.

Beautiful movie. Great acting, great storyline. I feel sad for those narrow minded people who gave it 1 star on basis of their homophobia. To them I want to say get over it, no one cares about what you think!!!!!

After being a huge fan of Devon ke Dev started watching this show. Actor who plays Shiv has such a flat expression and after comparing him with Mohit Raina couldn’t watch any further after the Sati immolation scene. The same scene in Mahadev when Mohit portrays Shiva at the time of Sati immolation scene… the pure fury and pain combined was so beautifully portrayed. The tandav scenes done by Mohit Raina vs this actor playing Shiv was highly disappointing. I did like the actor who plays Vishnu, also the story’s timeline is all over the place. Sati wasn’t with Shiv during Samundar Manthan as shown in the beginning episodes, it was Ma Parvati. And the actors playing Narad and Nandi really over act. Unfortunately after watching Mahadev, this serial seems very disappointing! I only like the jewellery and clothes worn by the Tri Devi’s.
