Michael Leue

The first two episodes are very, very bland. The characters are paper thin DC ripoffs, the writing is blunt and obvious, the fights are all resolved by one of the MCs just deciding to be more powerful for a while, and the one legitimate mystery in the story is spoiled right off the bat. If you're going to watch the series, skip those and start on episode 3 and pick up the basics of the plot from context. Don't expect miracles, but at least you won't have wasted your time watching stuff that actively makes the rest of the series worse.
