I've read every one of the Jack Reacher series. None is Booker prizewinning material, but all have been enjoyable. Some more than than others, but all readable.
I awaited the latest in the series "The Sentinel" apparently written as a collaboration between Lee Child and his brother Andrew who is taking up the mantle upon Lee's retirement.
What a disappointment. The convoluted story failed to reach any appreciable level of excitement as Reacher battled cyber crime. This is just not his area of expertise and the dreary story failed to hold my interest. I ploughed through it to the end and I mean ploughed.
Having come this far with the series I will try the next Reacher book but if it follows the pattern and standard of this one I will somewhat sadly be saying goodbye.
