The season one episode that ranked Abishola's partnering candidates was hilarious by many. However as an American Black man it was extremely disappointing. While attending graduate school in Washington DC, I came to realize that many of my African classmates came with a distorted negative perceptions of Black Americans. They raised themselves above us, before knowing us. While they were great students, we were often the top axademic performers, which often brought them to us for help. This program honestly but accurately reminds me of their often negative prejudgement. Otherwise it is a fun show.
