Frankly, I have been pretty disappointed with cinema as of late. But this is an incredible achievement. Bradley Cooper'sdirecting and performance and that of Carey Mulligan are stellar. I was particularly enthralled by the manner that Bernstein's life is explored through his relationship with both Montealegre and his art.
