Not 100% true (especially the relationship with his wife), but an interesting watch. A captivating character study of a misunderstood genius.

A bizarre film and product of it's time. The premise of ordinary humans playing dogs is an odd concept, but has rarely been used before or sense.

It may not be accurate or realistic, but it's still a fun watch with awesome music. It is in many ways similar to the more recent “Bohemian Rhapsody”, it’s a celebration of a man, his band, and their music and how and why it endures to this day. Like Malek’s Freddie Mercury, Kilmer’s Jim Morrison is a depiction of a charismatic frontman who becomes a cultural icon and thanks to a crazy, hedonistic “rock star” lifestyle meets an untimely demise at a young age. It is not a serious documentary or 100% accurate, but shouldn’t let you watch it or even enjoy it!

It wants to be the "Rock and Roll Romeo and Juliet", but it's more or less the story of two self-destructive idiots who were doomed from the start. It also portrays the 1970s punk movement as being really unrealistic and cartoonish!

Just a fun adventure, something much needed in this uncertain and harsh time

As someone on the spectrum, I usually dislike how we are portrayed by the media. I thought this was surprisingly good and relatable.
