Where do I start man I have played a lot of games and story driven games are what I love most. God Of War Ragnarok is by far the (greatest) narrative driven game I’ve played. Huge shot out to Sony and Santa Monica studios for creating a masterpiece.
The characters were beautifully written with real film actors. I felt all kinds of emotions in this game I was happy, sad and angry. Anytime a game or a film can touch me like that it’s a masterpiece. Now to the combat they could’ve left the combat the same just as 2018’s God of War instead they perfected the combat mechanics, new weapon finishers, to being able to use rage with your weapons. This game is no doubt Game of the year I know Elden Ring is a contender but it really isn’t and I say that only because this game’s story, combat, characters, music, voice acting was top tier. The emotional impact behind it. Elden Ring the only emotion you felt was anger after dying so many times, and not to knock Elden Ring it’s a great game for sure but not on the same scale as God of War Ragnarok. They flesh all their characters out from the previous installment. Kratos and Atraus, Thor, Freya and Odin are the juggernauts in this game but the supporting cast kills it as well. They due a character turn with a certain character and it blew me a way. I highly recommend this game, I give this game a exceptional 10/10 truly Game of The Year for me.
