I so looked forward to this film. Alexander Dreymon is amazing as Uthred. I am so pi---- off though at the way it has gone down the 'Woke' road. There is absolutely no evidence that Athelstan had sex with men. Athelstan was apparently a compassionate man, a great warrior and forgiving. Not in this film. The only thing historical about him is his name.
Why was that ridiculous scene even put in???? Didn't even finish watching this travesty.
