Little Leia is more obnoxious than Judith Grimes. Children shouldn't speak like smug bloggers. It's not endearing, it's pretentious. If she were a boy, we'd assume the writers intended this to be an annoying brat, but instead cringey dialogue is supposed to be inspirational simply because it's Leia. The series has other problems, but it's mostly this character making it unwatchable. No offense to the young actress; bad writing isn't her fault.

Predictable, copying every cliche, with cingey attempts at comedy. Just by-the-numbers boring that could have been written by an AI. I suspect Netflix has a nepotism problem because uncreative people keep being given huge budgets for lazy scripts.

I don't need it to be accurate to the games. I don't care what skin color any actors have. All I hoped for was an interesting plot and characters who behave reasonably given their motivations. That should be the bare minimum to get a script approved. Instead everyone on this show is stupid beyond belief with only plot armor keeping them alive. The lead kids are whiny jerks, Umbrella is incredibly incompetent, and it seems like the creators have an insultingly low opinion of the audience's intelligence. The only likeable character was the funny fat ginger villain; he's why I'm leaving two stars instead of one.

Typical of recent streaming series in which a selfish and irresponsible character is supposed to be strong simply because they are the good gender. Pandering preachy dialog from writers who only read Twitter and think comedy is getting an audience to clap at opinions they agree with. I am so bored of activism and casting being treated as more important than plot.
