Truly a "feel good" adolescent romance film that features Christianity yet misses the importance of a relationship with Christ. As typical of church camps, developing romances usually are at the forefront of every teenage mind. As a whole, it's missed how life can change because of the Lord. It highlights good relationships with other people and how lives change because of those relationships. If you want growth as a Christian, this movie/musical isn't it. Popular music from great Christian artists and some of their cameos were a pleasant surprise; not much was original. There were many explanations and "this happened" sequences and little in regard to development of character which made it seem there were plot holes. I wasn't sure what to expect but if was neither good or bad. Just to make you feel good.
