I can't begin to explain the rage that was induced due to the abhorrent disregard for common sense in this film. First the writing for the daughters was abysmal at best. The entire family talked over each other to create a symphony of unnecessary chaos. Idris's kids spoke an important language to the films story but never used it. Wasted potential. Then every instance of basic survival precautions we all learned in middle school were completely thrown out throughout the big bad lion "gon GETCHA" scenes. DOORS. SWEET GOD THE DOORS. Towards the end of the film, the final sin, they completely and utterly refused to close doors in buildings which would prevent big bad lion from chomp town. They found a safe spot, four walls, three DOORS and a roof and thought "No need to close anything let the light in kids." and shockingly that ended badly. Not one, not TWO BUT THREE. THREE DOORS WERE LEFT OPEN. One for the burnt chicken nugget of a lion (he was in proximity to a car exploding and didn't die???) And two for God to remedy his mistakes.
I wouldn't wish this movie on a newborn with no ability to discern good from bad media. Don't bother with this movie, I've lost brain cells.
