The movie develops excruciatingly slowly, to the point where the first half of the movie is just a mix of angsty dialogues and haphazard pacing. Agreed, the second half does pick up, but it leaves you wondering, does the movie need another part when they could’ve spent 5 more minutes to finish up a very simple plot. The graphic design team has also gone over and above their job demands in creating over the top graphics for every scene, perhaps to distract the audience from the lacklustre story and dialog. But even this comes off as a graphic designing students final year project where they’ve puked almost every trick they knew onto the screen.
Overall, the story does too less and the graphics do too much, aggregating to a story that makes you wonder if the team behind Spider-Man did actually need the 2.5 hours to screen this movie.
