I normally dont do negative reviews and this is and it isnt. For me it did nothing / not enough in the 8 episodes it had and I do not want to see the next season. Good actors and filming. Good story, good pace / tone but should have done way more in 8 episodes or it should have had another couple to make it a little more rounded and compelling to come back to. I feel it seems more like a mid season break at the end instead of this 8 episode season. Doing a bit more in the time they had or extra episodes would have got me on the next season. I guess all the positive 5 star reviews are from people who have read the books and know whats happening next, I dont and it should have been made for people like me (a newbie to the story) as well as the 'fans'.
