It's pretty to look at, but it's as stale and generic as a faux female empowerment film can be. The film feels oddly-anachronistic, like it wouldn't have been terribly out of place fifteen years ago. The plot is painfully-predictable and all but given away by the time the first twenty minutes painfully tick away. Characters are props, and Brown's acting teeters between boring you to tears, and Wiseau levels of so bad it's good.
