We started watching this almost as a joke but quickly found it is shockingly good. It's the best show nobody is talking about. The cinematography, the actresses' ability to make crazy dialog sing, a willingness and ability to grapple with hard topics and remain funny and endearing beggars the imagination. It's absolute triumph. It's been a long, long time since I have seen anything like this, if ever. Almost from the first moments I knew this was something special. I'm a guy who mountain bikes and never read these books but it doesn't matter. This is undeniably great.
