In generators I thought the show was well done. Loved the music, the themes, southern cinematograpy and Blackness. It brought attention to the struggle Black farmers have had to ensure. After 246 years of chattel slavery and then 100 yrs of segregation and Jim Crow with blatant hatred and racism makes me proud to see some real issues on screen. Not all pleasantness, because, it is not pleasant! This country will NEVER be able to move forward until they can acknowledge their crimes against humanity and its effect on society! There was some acting that was a bit over the top after a while and a couple of questionable characters, but, it's a drama. Think they ended it just in time!

Interesting how many people are unable to speak for themselves and how many have issues with the movie because the Obamas produced it. Lol. Quite SAD! I would give it 3.5 stars if able. Like most horror/thrillers, it has some strangeness to it. If U are able to think outside the box, perhaps, U can explore deeper meanings.
