The overall format and talent level is terrible. Toilet humour and over-sexualisation make the show just tacky and crass. The lip sync songs are painful to hear, out of tune, incredibly long and embarrassing to watch. There’s clear racism against one of the Bolivian queens, they’ve tried to edit it out, but what they’ve left in is disgusting. They attack the queen for her Bolivian cultural outfit and heritage. Ok, it’s a show, but they way it was said was appalling. You do not criticise someone’s heritage. With Ru at the helm and the importance of the BLM movement, this is shocking. Racism starts at home and it starts with all of us. This should have been addressed and shut down. The judges are some cast of vile supervillains. Nasty, ancient, soulless creatures dragged up from some Z-list ninth circle of hell. Yellow teeth is not a good look and the outfits. Wow. Was the designer an ADHD children’s TV presenter with a glue gun, colour blindness and Tourette’s? No? well it might be time to invest in a mirror. The interactions with the pit crew are nasty and play heavily into the stereotype of gay predation. The inclusion for four non-binary queens are the only saving grace for the show. There’s some talent in this group, but it sadly drowned by this rainpuke 🌈 🤮 show. Minus one stars.
