I liked it. I think there are many morals/ underlying messages in a raw, character-detailed story that had me riveted. Simple, brusque sentence structure matches Four's flat personality and the bleak aspects of the setting. The setting and character development make the story. The setting is a stark juxtaposition of grey benightedness and the richness and complexities of human nature and culture.
