I found this movie really quite disturbing, considering the target audience is children.
And Kransinski wrote this movie for his daughters!!! What was he thinking normalising a young girl going into a male toilet alone, to watch a man doing his business under the guise of following an imaginary friend???
I felt sick to my stomach watching this scene!!!!
Kransinski really needs to speak to child sex abuse survivors and Child Protection Service workers to understand that his naivety in producing this movie has probably give sexual predators a new story to easily gain the trust of a child.
Yes, create magical stories about IF's for children, keep the characters animated, but don't make a child think they can tra la la off with a strange man into a male toilet, or into a strange males apartment, alone!!!
It's 2024, movies should not be normalising children blindly trusting and following strange men.
