Book and movie brought tears to my eyes. Having lost my wife recently and our oldest cat that we both loved, it made me value life and choices even more. As Jake chose memories of his Sadie over hurting her over and over through time trying to keep her, it showed the best of love and life. I’ve always followed and read Stephen King for other ‘needful things’, but this time he has shown how special of a storyteller he really is. And even though the ending hurt emotionally, I am glad I read the book and saw the movie. The two actors they chose for Jake and Sadie really did look in love as they gazed at each other…..well done.
