This is more than a complicated love story. It’s a story about a mother and wife who sacrificed 20 years of her life for her family, only to be woken up by harsh reality that she’s unhappy and taken for granted.
I love that it shows how an affair affects every single person in the family, not just between the partners.
I also love that the show also focuses on the main protagonist learning how to put herself first and the journey of achieving her dream job.
So many heartbreaks. So many comedic scenes. So many irritating bits. So many hopeful moments.
The fact that the focus was on characters in their 50s also makes it different than others. Love it to the max!
It reminds me of the short story, A Doll’s House, but with a happy and justified ending.
