The film made me remember how very much I love jazz - and how terribly hurt and flawed The great purveyors of it have been. I enjoyed it and was completely absorbed but also sad at the terrible damage drugs did to, apparently, every great creative and successful (and not successful) Jazz force.

Utterly magnificent in every way, watched it the night that Sinn Fein topped the polls, how far we have come….
