Half-baked at best. Career mode is full of bugs. Menu system and general UX is awful, and everything you want to see seems yo be buried a layer or two deep (e.g. league table, lineup). The academy tournaments are a fun addition, but the player face generation is diabolical, they all look ridiculous. It also looks like they maybe haven’t separated male/female features, so all the players end up looking pretty androgynous. Gameplay feels a little clunkier than the previous version, and AI seems a little dumber somehow - but maybe I haven’t figured out the correct player roles yet. I find AI controlled players aren’t making any decent runs etc. Defending also seems awful this year - AI defenders win the ball on every tackle, but when a user controlled player tackles they so rarely come away with the ball.
