I wached the movie on a Thursday morning in April. It is an emotional film.Certain scenes brought tears to my eyes in particular the sequence when a repentent Raj Babbar comes home and regrets to his wife for his past misbehaviours with her.Reena Roy puts in a great performance.

Although Jab Jab Phool Khile is not a long story, yet the songs, the captivating Kashmir landscapes, the simplicity of Shashi Kapoor and above all the ravishing beauty of Nanda make the film worth watching

Apart from being a suspense thriller, what strikes me as another remarkable feature of the film was the dance sequence in hotel by the exuberant Shashi Kapoor teasing Sharmila Tagore in the song Nain Milaanaa Chayeen Churaanaa Kiskaa Hai Eh Kaam.

Storyline is very thin but Ranbir Kapoor is enjoyable. It was also good to see director Rajkumar Santoshi trying his hand in the comedy genre of cinema.
